Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials before patient exams.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Take and develop high-quality dental x-rays (radiographs) following safety protocols.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage patient records and ensure strict HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain a sterile and organized clinical environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Current state licensure in Texas.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and sterilization protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-facing setting.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software.
