Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Administer patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Maintain precise dental charts and electronic health records
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Ensure operatory sanitation and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification (RDA or EFDA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR certification with current BLS credentials
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
- Associate's degree in Dental Assisting or equivalent program
