Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain clinical hygiene standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment efficiently
- Update patient charts and maintain accurate dental records
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Coordinate scheduling and inventory management
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- X-ray certification and CPR certification required
- Proficiency in dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Texas state dental assistant permit
