Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Perform digital radiography and advanced imaging techniques
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordinate patient education and treatment plan presentations
- Implement efficient scheduling for chairside efficiency
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required (Oklahoma State Board)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of dental radiography and OSHA protocols
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Experience with digital practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and training capabilities
