Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient records and update digital charts accurately
- Assist in inventory management and restocking dental supplies
- Deliver post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
- Coordinate with front desk to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification from accredited program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental practice
- DEXIS/Carestream imaging software proficiency
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Tennessee dental radiography license
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
