Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain supplies
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols
- Assist with laboratory procedures and fabricate temporary crowns
Qualifications
- Accredited dental assisting program graduate or equivalent experience
- Current Colorado Dental Assistant certification
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational excellence
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
