Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument passing, suctioning, and patient positioning
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos
- Manage patient flow and schedules with our digital practice management software
- Take accurate dental impressions for restorative procedures
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education materials
- Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials
- Assist with front desk duties including check-in/out and insurance verification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior dental experience necessary – we provide paid training!
- CPR certification required (will provide if needed)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor tasks
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
