Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorations, extractions, and crowns
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Implement strict infection control protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Manage patient records using Dentrix software
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Schedule appointments and handle front desk duties
Qualifications
- Accredited dental assisting program graduate or equivalent experience
- Tennessee Dental Assistant license (or eligible)
- CPR certification
- Experience with digital radiography and dental software
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
