Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical cases using standardized triage protocols
- Provide expert medical advice via telehealth and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans and treatment pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with detailed documentation
- Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up care across departments
- Educate patients on preventive care and health management strategies
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California with at least 3 years clinical experience
- BLS/BCLS certification and ACLS preferred
- Proven expertise in emergency triage protocols and patient assessment
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to de-escalate high-stress situations
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
