Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including extractions and implants
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and intraoral photos
- Manage patient flow and maintain immaculate operatories
- Assist with digital radiography and practice management software
- Implement infection control protocols across all treatment areas
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Dental Assistant certification (DALEF or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
- Excellent communication skills and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy laws
- Spanish language proficiency highly desirable
