Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures and treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records using digital dental software
- Assist with infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Administer local anesthetics and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Coordinate patient scheduling and appointment reminders
- Support front desk operations when needed
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB preferred
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience
- Ohio Dental Radiography license required
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
