Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems accurately
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Coordinate infection control protocols throughout clinical areas
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or graduation from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- DEXIS/Radiography certification required
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental management software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
