Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction, and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal operatory efficiency
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Administer patient education on oral hygiene and post-care
Qualifications
- Active DANB certification or accredited dental assisting program graduate
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
