Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize equipment and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Coordinate treatment plans and post-op care instructions
- Oversee front desk duties when needed
Qualifications
- Current RDA certification in California required
- 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- CPR certification (BLS)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume practice
