Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using precise chairside support
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Document patient care using digital dental software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Monitor inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix)
- Excellent knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
