Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries with precision and confidence.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to sterilization protocols.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs as directed.
- Greet patients warmly, manage patient records, and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain a sterile environment and strictly adhere to infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant license (or ability to obtain).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting is preferred.
- Proficient in four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
