Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize instruments using OSHA standards
- Take accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) and develop diagnostic images
- Manage patient records and chairside digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate seamless patient flow and scheduling logistics
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Pennsylvania Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging software
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
