Responsibilities
- Assist with Patient Care: Support the dentist and hygienist during examinations, procedures, and cleanings with precision and care.
- Chairside Assistance: Prepare instruments, hand pieces, and materials to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) while adhering to safety protocols.
- Infection Control: Strictly maintain sterilization standards and organize the operatories to ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Patient Communication: Greet patients, explain procedures, and provide post-operative instructions to ensure patient comfort.
- Record Keeping: Accurately update and manage patient dental records in our EHR system.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California or DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in taking and processing X-rays and knowledge of dental software.
- Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification and valid TB test.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Attitude: A friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for patient service.
