Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including examinations, fillings, crowns, and extractions.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Greet patients, update medical histories, and prepare treatment rooms for procedures.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our digital management system.
Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
