You'll work alongside experienced dentists and hygienists while utilizing state-of-the-art equipment including digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during restorative, endodontic, and surgical procedures
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs with proper infection control
- Manage sterilization protocols and instrument processing
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Perform chairside assistance including suction, mixing materials, and charting
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant Diploma or Certificate required
- Current North Carolina Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software (Dentrix Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- CPR certification and BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
