Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and crown placements
- Perform chairside four-handed dentistry with precision and efficiency
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide oxide monitoring
- Update patient records using our digital dental management system
- Provide post-operative instructions and compassionate patient education
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis, Sirona) and practice management software
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume practice
- Spanish bilingualism preferred but not required
