Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental materials according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Ramsay license required) and perform intraoral examinations.
- Manage patient records, update medical histories, and prepare treatment plans for review.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.
- Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Certified or currently eligible for Texas Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
- CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a dental setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
