Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including sterilization, instrument transfer, and suction control
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and materials for patient procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
- Manage patient records using digital software (EHR experience preferred)
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DAEFB or DANB) required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in digital radiography and EHR systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service focus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- FL state radiology license (if applicable)
