Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and impressions
- Manage patient scheduling and billing coordination
- Inventory management of dental supplies
- Deliver post-operative care instructions
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification or diploma required
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix Eaglesoft)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
- North Carolina dental radiography license
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings
