Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams and complex treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Maintain infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient records using dental software (Epic/Carestream)
- Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care
- Order inventory and manage supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or Florida Board approved)
- X-ray certification and radiography experience
- 1+ years in general dentistry practice
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Medisoft dental software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently
