Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during complex treatments (extractions, restorations)
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs
- Maintain sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Manage digital patient records and practice software
- Provide chairside assistance with advanced dental technology
- Deliver post-op care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligible
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented settings
