Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical areas according to OSHA guidelines
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs accurately
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Assist with inventory management and ordering dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with front desk staff for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (TN state)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and Eaglesoft software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient comfort
