Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments per OSHA protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction management
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging systems
- Manage patient charts and maintain accurate digital records using Dentrix software
- Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort throughout appointments
- Order and inventory dental supplies while maintaining optimal clinic organization
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Strong knowledge of infection control and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
