Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and sterilization
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Maintain strict infection control protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal workspace organization
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DAEFCC or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with patient-first approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Washington State dental radiology permit
- Background check and drug screening required
