Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
- Manage patient records using digital software like Dentrix Eaglesoft
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal clinical workflow
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene techniques
- Coordinate with front desk to optimize patient scheduling and experience
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or registered in NC
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in radiography techniques and digital imaging
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
- Experience with dental practice management software
