Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during general dentistry and specialty procedures
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays (RDA certification preferred)
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Implement strict sterilization protocols (OSHA/CDC compliance)
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Assist with digital charting and practice management software
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active RDA or DA license in California (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year clinical dental assisting experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
