Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Manage patient records and digital charting
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Ensure operatory sanitation and OSHA compliance
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and inventory management
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental office
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual preferred
