Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and instrument transfer
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Order inventory and manage supply chain for dental materials
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification (or eligible to obtain within 90 days)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ years of chairside assisting experience preferred
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong communication skills and compassionate patient demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Tennessee dental radiography permit (or willingness to obtain)
