Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA and CDC protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Oversee inventory control and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain clean, organized operatories and sterilization areas
- Schedule appointments and update patient records in our digital system
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography (X-ray) techniques
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Digital charting experience (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred)
