Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including chairside assistance during dental treatments
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and operatories per OSHA standards
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and patient comfort
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Eaglesoft software
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate treatment plans with dentists and hygienists for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturdays
- Valid Minnesota dental radiography license
