Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments prior to patient appointments.
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed.
- Manage patient records, including updating charts and collecting insurance information.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene techniques.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Dental Assistant License (required in PA).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
