Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure comfort throughout treatments
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using proper infection control protocols
- Take and develop accurate dental X-rays using digital radiography systems
- Maintain sterilization of instruments and equipment per OSHA guidelines
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling using Eaglesoft software
- Provide post-operative care instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
- Order supplies and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification from accredited institution
- Active radiology certification (Oregon Board-approved)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix)
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to team collaboration
