Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assisting duties, including instrument preparation and handpiece changing.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) according to safety protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment to ensure infection control standards.
- Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately and promptly.
- Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out processes to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and BLS certification is required.
