Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Greet patients warmly, manage appointments, and maintain accurate records.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene techniques.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification or graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or DANB certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry setting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as required.
