Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with efficiency and professionalism.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient visits.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant License in the State of Texas (RDHA).
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
