What You'll Do:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients have a comfortable and efficient experience. Your expertise will directly impact patient satisfaction and clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Chair-Side Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterilization protocols and maintain a clean, sanitary clinical environment.
- Diagnostics: Take and develop dental X-rays (panoramic, periapical) and prepare patients for imaging.
- Patient Care: Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and treatment histories.
- Operational Support: Manage inventory for dental supplies and ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked and organized.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current DANB certification or state licensure as a Dental Assistant required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills: Proficiency in dental software and ability to operate modern dental equipment (e.g., CEREC, digital X-rays).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
