Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict hygiene protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage patient records accurately and update electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Handle front desk duties including scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
Qualifications
- Current Radiology Certification (RDHA) is preferred.
- State of Oklahoma Dental Assistant license or eligibility to obtain one.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a dental setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
