Responsibilities
- Chair-Side Assistance: Perform four-handed dentistry and assist the dentist during various procedures.
- Patient Management: Greet patients, manage check-ins, and ensure a comfortable and stress-free experience.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterilization protocols and cross-contamination prevention standards.
- Radiography: Capture and process dental X-rays accurately using digital technology.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock dental supplies and instruments as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts and treatment records.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Florida Dental Assistant license (RDA).
- Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification and valid X-ray license.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry practice preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and modern equipment.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
