Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and digital images.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and confirm appointments.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Monitor patient comfort and ensure a clean, sterile environment.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant Certification (CDA) or RDA required.
- State X-ray license (Maryland) or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred.
