Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring proper 4-handed dentistry.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs as directed by the dentist.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to sterilization protocols.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and update patient records accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized clinic environment at all times.
- Provide post-operative instructions and education to patients following treatment.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is a plus but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
