Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and procedures with precision and care.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Greet patients warmly, explain treatment plans, and facilitate a positive patient experience.
- Order and manage dental supplies and inventory efficiently.
- Perform coronal polishing and take impressions as directed.
Qualifications
- Current Nevada Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor skills accurately.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
