Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain high standards of infection control.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records and handle insurance claims accurately.
- Greet patients and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix).
