Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and X-ray equipment.
- Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and intraoral photographs as directed.
- Explain post-operative instructions and oral hygiene care to patients.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Manage patient records and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Order and manage dental supply inventory.
Qualifications
- Current California RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license.
- DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RHS (Radiation Health and Safety) certification preferred.
- Experience with digital radiography and modern dental software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (BLS) required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
