Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during examinations and complex procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure safety.
- Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays (Radiography).
- Guide patients through treatment plans and explain post-operative care clearly.
- Manage patient records and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Handle front desk duties, including scheduling and insurance verification.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Dental Assistant License.
- Certified in Radiography (or willing to obtain certification).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain a positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
