Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Light housekeeping and errands to maintain safe living environments
- Transport patients to medical appointments and social activities
- Build trusting relationships through compassionate communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Colorado HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to complete training)
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience preferred
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for elderly/disabled clients
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules
